Pig Roast and Bridal Shower

This weekend we had a lot of fun things planned...we got to go to the annual Houk pig roast on Saturday, which was a ton of fun. Wyatt had a blast playing in a big open field and with the balls/trucks that were there :) He didn't taste any pig - but we did get a picture of he and Nick next to it. Good job Houk's and thanks for inviting us!

Sunday I hosted a small bridal shower for our friend Courtney, who is getting married October 15th. It was wonderful to see her and to get a chance to shower her with "something blue" (the shower theme) before the big day :) Congratulations soon-to-be Fezler's!

This week is a busy one for both Nick and I with work...hopefully it cools down a bit so I can get a bit more comfortable :) No more summer pregnancies for me!

Hope you are staying cool!

Sage Fetrow has arrived!

Our best friends, Taylor and Brad, were expecting their first baby around September 5th and were keeping the sex a surprise. Well, not only was the sex a surprise - but the day she was born :) Sage came almost three weeks early and very quickly - thank goodness for mommy! Taylor was a rockstar, she got that little lady out so fast and everyone is healthy and happy :)

We were there when she was born (in the waiting room of course!), which was the most special thing. We got to meet her minutes after she came into the world and it was amazing to witness Brad and Tay as parents for the first time :) Sage is in wonderful hands and we couldn't be happier for all three of them.

Here are her details:
Name: Sage Donnine Fetrow
Weight: 5 pounds, 15 ounces
Height: 18 inches
Birth time: 8:01pm
Birth date: 8/17/11

She is the most adorable thing ever and we are beyond excited for their family...she is the perfect addition! Wyatt is already pretty taken with her...sorry Tay and Brad :)

Congratulations Fetrow family!

Summer fun (week 31 pregnancy)

This has been a fun week full of summer activities...like soccer, the park and a picnic :) We have been enjoying our time outside and our time with just us 3. Soon enough we will be a 4-some and although we can't wait, we want to take advantage of the time left with just Wyatt.

Monday was the Greg Weber memorial golf tournament at Langdon and the Weber August birthday dinner. It was great to see everyone and watch Wyatt play with all of his cousins...he had a blast! He also loved singing happy birthday...soon we will have to break it to him that we don't have good voices in this family :)

All in all, everything is going well...still having contractions, but nothing to write home about. Our next appointment is on the 30th and we will see is Nolan is still measuring "big" :)

30th birthday's :)

Although Brad, Nick's BF and Wyatt's Godfather, turned 30 on August 6th, we celebrated it on the 10th. His awesome wife, Taylor, put together a fun get together at Big Al's complete with bowling, pizza, cake and lots of people :) Wyatt wore a special shirt that said "My Godfather is 30!" and rocked his Etnies...he was ready for the party! It was a great time and we enjoyed celebrating Brad's big 3-0!

Saturday was another 30th birthday extravaganza - this time for Kim :) We started that morning with maternity pics of Kim, Taylor, myself and Amanda and Julie - two of Kim's friends from high school. It was crazy having 5 preggo's together - due dates range from Sept 5th through November 28th. We then joined Kim at Amanda's in-laws where there was a backyard BBQ and movie night. It was tons of fun and great to celebrate the big 3-0 with Mrs. Myers :)

On the baby front, we received our test results that I am not a gestational diabetic (WOO HOO) and that my platelets have only dropped a tiny bit since April. All good news and with 10 weeks left, it is a sigh of relief. I have been having quote a few braxton hicks contractions which has not been super fun. The only positive there is that y body seems to be getting ready for this delivery, unlike last time :) Hopefully we won't have to induce...

Here are a couple pics from the boys golfing at Nick's parents on Sunday...yes, we made Wyatt look like a total tourist in Hawaii :)

Maternity/ 1 Year Pics (week 30 pregnancy)

We just got a "sneak peek" of our maternity/family/1-year pics and they are so good! Katie Anderson (www.ka-photography.com) does such a great job - she took our maternity and newborn pics with Wyatt as well. We love them and can't wait to see them all!

Check them out on her blog and leave a comment if you get a chance...

Getting ready for Nolan (week 29 pregnancy)

It is so funny how different pregnancies are... with Wyatt we had his room set up and done before the third trimester even started :) We are just now getting around to finishing up Wyatt's new room so I can make the nursery into Nolan's. Home Depot is where we have spent most of our free time this weekend - but I must say, we are so much closer to being ready for baby Nolan.

We also managed to get in a "date day" Saturday (thank you Sandy and Savannah!) - we went to a late lunch and to a movie. It was a blast being "a couple" and hanging out together...no babies to worry about or schedule to stick to :)

Sunday, our good friends Genny and John hosted a birthday BBQ for Nick at their house. They just finished re-landscaping their backyard and it looks amazing! It was fun to celebrate with friends and have a relaxing evening. Thank you Richardson's for a wonderful night! PS - can we reflect on how much our child loves to chew on beer bottles!?! :)

Now, I must take a minute to brag about my husbands green thumb ;) He built a garden in our front yard and planted peppers, tomatoes and a cucumber plant. I am so impressed with how fast it has grown and that it is still alive! Good job babe :)

Hope summer is going well for everyone!

Fun in the sun! (week 28 pregnancy)

This week was full of fun events...starting with Wyatt's birthday. We then had the Member Guest Tournament (Nick and dad took 2nd in their flight!) at Tualatin Country Club and I had a mini "shower" for Nolan - thanks again ladies! We went to Claim Jumpers for dinner and I was spoiled with fun gifts :) Saturday Wyatt got his second haircut - we took him to Fantastic Sam's. He did really well for about 10 minutes and then was over it :) Sunday we relaxed by my parents pool and had a BBQ at Mo's, which was the perfect way to end the weekend. Monday marked Nick's 31st birthday and we celebrated by going to Old Spaghetti Factory with family and friends...

This week we have our family/maternity/Wyatt's one year pictures - I am really excited for those! We also have a dr appt for Nolan on Thursday so we can find out how he is doing. I would imagine just fine by all the movement I feel these days! I will have my glucose test as well - keep your fingers crossed I am not a gestational diabetic. :)

All in all, summer is officially going and we are crazy busy...nothing new here :)

Wyatt Turns One and Third trimester begins!

It is official - our baby boy is no longer a baby, but a toddler :) Wyatt turned one on the 27th and we celebrated by going to the Zoo for the first time with Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie :) Sadly, daddy had to work, but we celebrated with him at dinner :) Wyatt LOVED seeing the animals, especially the penguins! He also got to try his first elephant ear which was a success :) No big shock there...

To keep the celebration going, we went to dinner at Red Robin. He got his own kids meal (with chocolate milk!), balloon ears and was sang to by the staff. We finished it all off with a sunday - a great first birthday if you ask me :) It was such a fun day and we had so much fun spoiling the birthday boy. Hard to believe a year has gone by, but it is SO fun to see Wyatt become his own little person. I look forward to all the fun years we have to come...love you baby boy!

Wednesday also marked the first day of our third trimester - a big day in our house :) I can hardly believe we have less than 3 months until Nolan is here! I am beyond excited to meet him and add another little man to my life :) Now, I just need to get ready for him! So funny how that isn't a priority with your second one :)

To a week full of exciting events!
