We had a pretty busy week and weekend this past week. Baby boy and I went on lots of walks (thanks Amy and Maria), Nick and I had a date night while Brad and Tay watched Wyatt for us, the whole Bales clan was in town so we had a fun family Saturday at Caryn's and Maureen's and then Sunday was Wyatt and Jake's joint baptism. We also celebrated Grandpa Weber's 76th birthday...it was a fun-filled and very busy day!
I must say, Wyatt did cry a bit at the baptism, but overall he was SO good! I think sometimes I forget he is only 2 1/2 months old. He just looks as big as his cousin Jake :) It was a wonderful celebration and we are so glad Jake and Wyatt got to do it together. A huge thank you to all of our friends and family, especially Wyatt's godparents Marissa and Brad, who attended and supported them both - it means a lot to all of us. Also, thank you for helping and celebrating with us Sunday afternoon. It was a special day and we are so blessed to have the great people in our lives that we do.
This week we are hoping to hit up the pumpkin patch (providing the weather stays decent) before I head out to Phoenix for my sister weekend. I am really looking forward to getting away, but will miss my hubby and baby boy. At least I can get some sun, a massage and a few cocktails in before it is back to reality and looking for a job. A big thank you to my husband for watching the baby so I can go and a thank you to my sister for making this happen :)
Also - a shout out to my parents who are celebrating their 31st wedding anniversary on the 13th and to the Fetrow's who are celebrating their first anniversary on the 17th. Congrats to you both - happy anniversary!
Now for the pictures...:)
Love,
The Bales
