Nolan is 3 months!

Our little Bear (as we call him) is now 3 months old and is quite active! He loves to roll onto his side, eat his hands, chat with us, smile and has just started giggling :) He loves his bumbo now, grasps toys and reaches out to touch all kinds of things. He is changing more and more every day and it is so fun to watch him grow. He is officially in 6 month clothes now, a small boy he is not! His hair has lightened up quite a bit, but his baby blues are going strong :) He is now in his crib and we are all sleeping A LOT better. Now if only he could go to one feeding a night :) He is a happy little guy and we are so glad he is part of our family...we are smitten!

As for Wyatt, he is just getting over a 7 day stomach flu bout...not fun for anyone :( Poor little guy has been pretty low energy and much more needy, but today he is officially "back to normal" which means he is tearing our house apart, yelling, dancing, waking up brother and causing havoc :) We have set up pictures on the 20th of both boys and I can't wait to see what a ham Wyatt is in the photo shoot.

As for Nick and I, it seems that when it rains it pours. After the service for Mike, both Nick and I came down with "food poisoning" - which turned out to be the stomach flu :( Mine lasted until Wednesday and took me down hard. On Tuesday I had to have a bag of IV fluids and a shot of anti-naeusea medicine and learned I had lost 14 pounds in one week. Once I got over that I ended up getting mastitis again, so I am hoping I can kick that pretty quickly. Thank goodness for my amazing husband and family who have stepped up BIG time and taken care of everything. Reality begins Monday as I am "officially" back at work. Nick is doing well considering everything that has taken place the past few weeks - he really is the rock of the family and an incredible man.

I know we have said it many times, but I wanted to say one more time how incredible and humbling the support of our family and friends has been during this difficult time. We have been well taken care of with food, cards, flowers, visitors and babysitting offers. We hope you all know how much we appreciate all of this and will never forget it.

Here is hoping February will be a better month - lord knows we need it!
