Nolan is 3 weeks old

Our little man is already 3 weeks old - where does the time go?!

Halloween 2011!

Yesterday was a special day because we got to visit daddy at work and celebrate Halloween at their company potluck. Wyatt was a maniac running the halls and playing with the balloons - shouldn't have been a surprise :) It was fun to show Nolan and Wyatt off and get out of the house...I managed it all by myself which is a miracle in itself!

This being Nolan's first Halloween and Wyatt's second, we decided to have a little get together/party to celebrate :) It is no surprise to anyone that my favorite holiday is Halloween, but I think Wyatt may be taking after me! He loved his costume and trick or treating - at just 15 months! I am so proud :) We had a great time and enjoyed sharing the evening with many family and friends - great way to kick off the holiday season!

Nolan two week check up

Today was Nolan's two week check up and we were told what a healthy baby we have :) Nolan did great and is growing like a weed! Here are his stats:

Weight - 8 lbs 6.5 oz
Height - 21.2 in
Head circ - 14 in

Needless to say, all this feeding is paying off ;)

Pumpkin Patch!

We got to take the boys to the pumpkin patch yesterday and it was SO fun to watch Wyatt :) He was excited about everything - especially the tractor ride, the pumpkin patch and picking out his own pumpkin. We didn't get to leave before he had one MAJOR meltdown, but that is par for the course these days :)

Nolan just chilled in the Bjorn with mom and slept...which was nice since he was up most of the day wanting to eat! Made for a long day for mommy :) BUT, he did have his first tummy time and did great - he lifted his head up a few times and then just laid there...he was done.

My parents and sister were able to join us and get in on the fun - all in all I would say it was a success! Check out some of the great pics we got:

The Bales

Nolan's first two weeks

Our little man is two weeks old - time is flying! We have had a busy couple weeks and I don't see it slowing down. We had a packed weekend with Auntie Marissa's 25th birthday, Grandpa Bales wake and a visit with Auntie Molly and cousins Caden and Natalie. We even got a pic with all the cousins in their numbered shirts :)

Nolan is SUCH a great baby so far - we are so impressed with him and feel very lucky! He is giving is 4 and 5 hour stretches at night and is a great eater. He only cries when he wants food and so far has not even flinched when his brother gets a little rowdy around him :) He had his first bath since his belly button "scab" came off - not a huge fan :)

Tonight we have a work dinner for Nick's company so we are leaving the boys with Papa Bales and are treating it as a date night. Needless to say, we are super excited to get out and enjoy a kid free dinner :) Thursday we have Nolan's two week check up and can't wait to see how much weight he has gained. He eats enough for a football team, but still seems skinny to me :) Maybe that is just because I am the one who has to feed him!
