Nolan is 5 months old!

Our "baby" is now 5 months old and is a BEAST (meant in the nicest way possible :). He is now wearing 9 month clothes and is eating rice cereal and baby food. He is on formula now and has gone through all 150 bags of frozen milk we had stored up. Needless to say, he is an eater! He loves jumping in his jumper and has just started sitting up by himself. He is scooting when on his back and tummy and has pulled his knees up under him a time or two. I can't believe how much he is changing and growing right before my eyes. It is bitter sweet to see my little one working his way into a little boy :) He has started sleeping much better and only wakes up once or twice a night, which is SOOOOO nice for mommy and daddy :) He is a delightful and happy baby and we love his adorable and sweet personality.

Hoppy's Concert

Our friend Justin Hopkins is a musician who lives in LA, and he occasionally does concerts in Portland. We have not been able to make the last few due to pregnancy and infants, but we made it to the one last weekend. It was great to see him and how he has grown vocally. He is actually on the television show The Voice this season and it is great to see him doing what he loves.

Go team CeeLo!

Loving March!

Well, March has brought on some fun times and exciting firsts! Nolan had his first rice cereal and baby food! He wasn't a fan at first (the spoon was confusing!) but he has certainly gotten the hang of it now :) Wyatt got a new Thomas the Train set and he LOVES it! I on the other hand have lost more of my space in the basement so that we could set the thing up :) Wyatt has been LOVING Play Boutique, which is a cool school/indoor play space in Beaverton. We go once a week and so far we have gone with Grandma and Auntie. Grandpa even took all of us out to lunch at Red Robin after a play session and the boys did great. It was a fun treat to see and eat with him :) Wyatt has also discovered coloring - and he is having some fun with it. You just have to watch him, he likes to color on everything!

We also joined the Sherwood YMCA, which has been wonderful for all of us! Nick and I love the time together and to get back into shape and the boys are doing great in the Child Care Center. it was a transition for Wyatt since he has never been in daycare, but now he walks in like he owns the place :)

We are looking forward to St. Patrick's Day and for some Spring weather to make its way to us!

Love,
The Bales

Fun with the Yee's!

We had dinner with the Yee family a few weeks ago and the boys had a blast! Wyatt and Ella were buddies all night - playing, helping cook and eating together. So darn cute...could be trouble later though :) Nolan and Kole are about the same size now and they were interacting too! In a few years it is going to be so fun watching Ella boss those boys around ;)
